Panopa has been operating in Poznań since 2000 and provides comprehensive Kanban-type logistic services to Volkswagen Poznań Sp. z o.o. and 12 first tier suppliers. Our responsibilities in Caddy and T5 production include warehouse management, picking, staging and sequencing, preassembly, shuttle transportation to the Volkswagen factory and local supplier plants as well as empties management.

Panopa manages a total warehouse area of 133,000 sq.m. The Panopa warehouse accounts for 35,000 sq.m. The remaining space is located in the Volkswagen factories and in the supplier park. The site has been certified under ISO 9001:2000 and VDA 6.2:2004.

Transportation
As the headquarters of the transport organisation of the Polish subsidiary, Panopa Logistik Polska Sp. z o.o., all the transports between Poland and Western/Eastern Europe are organised from here. Services include steel coil dispatch, the issuance of advanced shipping notices, repacking, just-in-time deliveries, shuttle operations and project transportation. We also organize railroad, marine and barge movements in Eastern Europe. The preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance are of course part of the service.
