In Herten, we run a multi-user logistics centre 25,000 sq.m. in area. For the customers Daimler, Kone Corporation, Krone, Lemken and Scheuten Solar Technology, we store the individual and spare parts from tiny screws through to a ploughshare frame a number of metres wide and also dispatch them world-wide - 365 days a year and around the clock.

The multi-user logistics centre has a fully automatic small part warehouse with up to 240,000 small part storage locations, narrow and wide-corridor shelves with a capacity for about 30,000 pallets. The automatic conveying technique for small parts and pallets has a capacity of around 4,000 picks per day. The intelligent warehouse administration software based on SAP puts the articles, which have been picked on a number of levels, together in packing units for a single commission. Only 15 minutes after receipt of the order by Panopa, the spare parts are ready for dispatch.

Around 440,000 orders a year are handled with an average of 1,200 consignments per day. The delivery time within Europe is 24 to 48 hours at the most. Panopa offers its customers complete traceability of the orders through to the recipient, in order to display the current status of the delivery at any time.
